Prizes and Reviews

Superman IV was ripped apart by the critics and flopped at the box office. The only award that it received was the Golden Raspberry for Mariel Hemingway. The film is by far the weakest film of the series and can not convince at any time. The story has a logical error, the characters are flat and unconvincing and the special effects are adventurous bad. The producers of the film wanted unnecessary risk after Superman 3 and cut the budget, making the film even weaker.
